Turn off airplane mode in the Control Center or make control center inaccessible on Lock screen

I am trying to turn off airplane mode in the Control Center. I tried the fix recommended (go to settings, find control center and turn off access on Lock Screen) but I find no opportunity in Control Center in settings to turn off the access on Lock Screen. Looks like Apple has removed that option!! How do I deal with this vulnerability of the iPhone now??

Thanks but I do know how to turn on airplane mode. I actually want to ensure that Control Center is not accessible on Lock Screen or at least that airplane mode is not accessible on Lock Screen in case of theft of the iPhone

The setting you're looking for is in Settings>Face ID & Passcode>Allow Access When Locked.

Note that if you're thinking this will prevent thieves from putting the phone in airplane mode so that it can't be tracked, well, yes, it will prevent the from putting the phone in airplane mode. It will not, however, prevent them from turning off the phone or putting it in a Faraday bag.

Turn on/off Airplane Mode  ---> Use Airplane Mode on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Watch - Apple Support (IN)

  • Open Control Centre on your iPhone or iPod touch, or on your iPad, then tap the Airplane Mode button
  • On your Apple Watch, press the Side Button to open Control Centre, then tap the Airplane Mode button . In watchOS 9 and earlier, swipe up from the watch face to open Control Centre.
  • You can set your iPhone and Apple Watch to mirror the Airplane Mode setting of the other device. Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap General > Airplane Mode > Mirror iPhone.
  • Turning on Airplane Mode will turn off all radios except for Bluetooth. If you turn off Bluetooth while you’re in Airplane Mode, your device will remember that and will turn off Bluetooth the next time you turn on Airplane Mode.

Yeah I was replying to the guy who provided a clearly wrong answer. Your answer should be marked as the correct answer.

There is no longer a "Correct Answer". Answers will be listed as "Best Answer" based on the number of upvotes received.

I literally signed in just to upvote it and downvote the other guy’s unhelpful answer.

Well, I guess everyone needs a hobby. Remonstrating random strangers on the internet does seem to be a common one these days.

You can, now that voting has been added, change the sort order to "Upvotes" if that makes you happier. Click on your avatar at the top right of any page and select "Preferences." Go down to the bottom of the page and, under "Default thread sort," choose "Upvotes."

Note that this will only change how you see the thread sorted. People who choose a different option (I prefer "Oldest", ) will see it however they prefer to have it sorted.
