What the bejeepers is "Forward Delete"? (submitted by a Windows User)

I have been reading online the alternate MAC methods for common Windows commands.

I have no idea what "Forward Delete" is in Windows let alone MAC.

Please explain this miscommunication to former Windows users.

Unfortunately, my post could not be saved...Why Not?

And another thing, why, when I wanted to change the direction of my scroll wheel on the MAC, the selection referred to the existing setting as "The Natural Way"?

Has Apple decided what is natural?

Mac Studio, macOS 12.5

The delete key is a key on most computer keyboards which is typically used to delete either (in text mode) the character ahead of or beneath the cursor, or (in GUI mode) the currently-selected object. The key is sometimes referred to as the "forward delete" key. This is because the backspace key also deletes characters, but to the left of the cursor. On many keyboards, such as most Apple keyboards, the key with the backspace function is also labelled "delete".

Natural vs Reverse Scrolling is not defined by Apple: See this article.

Windows defaults to one and Mac to the other.
