macbook pro with Monterey will not pair with my mouse. Pairs nicely on other computers not on Monterey.

Hello! I will be more than glad to help you with your issue. This is what you are going to want to do. Open system preferences. Select Bluetooth. Make sure your mouse is on and in pairing mode. Select the name. Hope this helps!

First, can you say if you are using an Apple Magic Mouse? Or another third part mouse?

Likewise, if possible to test, does another Bluetooth mouse pair with the same Mac, but not others?
