Should i close apps

Quitting Apps on a Mac:

If you no longer have a need to use it, then it would be wise to close the app. Not doing so, the app will be consuming CPU usage.

I do.

Not for the battery but to free up cache and cpu for other apps I'm using.

If I'm finished using my computer, I shut it down as well.
