diagnostic service CHARGE!
my near by service center of apple is charging rs 2500 for diagnostic check . but apple says it provide free diagnostic service?

An Apple Store may do it for free outside of warranty, but don't expect an independent Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) to evaluate a computer for free outside of warranty. AASPs are not Apple, but independent businesses with contracts with Apple to officially service Apple products on behalf of Apple. Apple allows AASPs to charge for some services which may be free from an Apple Store.
