Prompt asking for software update (does not say for what software)
A window opens up every time I turn on my new Mac Studio asking for the password to update software. Is anybody else having this happen? Thanks

Apparently you have your Mac set to do that. I suggest doing the update. Just so you know, an update installs a newer version of the same operating system that is installed. An upgrade installs a newer, different operating system. Updates and upgrades provide enhanced security, new features and fix existing problems. They should normally be installed.

This is the window I see. Hope that it is a legitimate Apple thing and not a security risk!
