Why a bar is appeared on top right corner under wifi and battery icon

It's a visual indicator added in a recent iOS version to hint that you can pull down from the top left corner of the screen to access Control Center, which gives shortcut to major iOS features.

Many users were unaware of the Control Center access and this may be an attempt to guide users towards it.

You drag that bar down to open the Control Center.
