“Unable to complete transaction at this time”

Hello I’ve recently had my payment method decline I was using PayPal, but now I have redeemed $50.00 gift card but when I try to add the money to my account it keeps telling me “sorry were unable to complete the transaction at this time please try again later or contact apple support”

could you please help me out?
