LogicPro 8/Catalina

Help! Why can't I install Logic Pro 8 on my iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 ? (I've got a intel quad-core i5 & 32 gig of ram)

Thx!

There's no way Logic 8 is going to work on Catalina. The code is way too old (PowerPC code). You won't get Logic 9 to work on Catalina either. I think Logic 8's last OS was 10.6.8 and Logic 9 was about 10.12.x (Sierra) I think.

I LOVED Logic 8 and hung on to it as long as I could. Alas, unless you put on a very old OS it is not going to work.

Anything after Sierra (High Sierra and above) completely changed the code base.
