Hard Reset

Was the hard reset option removed from the watchOS 8.6 ?

I tried it ( holding the crown after the power off appears ) on my watch and it didn’t give me the Erease option.

No option to erase all settings on Watch reset These are the instructions to reset the Watch when the passcode is forgotten. At step 3, when I hold The Digital Crown, it just returns me to the lock screen. I do not get an option to erase content. Put your watch on its charger and keep it there until you complete these steps. Press and hold the side button until you see the power button in the upper-right corner of the display. Press and hold the Digital Crown until you see Erase all content and settings. Tap Reset, then tap Reset again to confirm.

no reset appearing on the watch screen eventhough the instruction is followed correctly My series 1 iwatch got locked due to many attempts of wrong passcode, i have followed the steps on how to reset however upon pressing the crown button there’s no reset appearing on the watch screen
