Mac Storage shows different data than the applications I can find

I have been trying to fix this issue myself for an hour now and can't seem to find the right solution. I don't know if I am missing some hidden files that I just can't find but I've reindexed spotlight through system preferences, disk utility AND the Terminal command, with nothing changing. Does anyone else know a solution to this or how I can find the hidden files if they are there? Blocked out personal apps (just games and search engine)

That's an app problem then and not an Apple problem

Contact the app's developer and ask how to or if it's needed. How do you know they're not needed? Most apps tend to take care of themselves.

If you bought an entry level Mac with a small disk, consider external data storage to free up space. iCloud will not necessarily do that for you as it's not a data storage service.

You can always completely uninstall the app per the developer's instructions and reinstall it. But that's likely not going to resolve your issue long term.
