iPhone is connected to wifi, but apps say "no internet connection"

Connected to wifi, but apps say "no internet connection". Have tried all here, with the exception of Solutions 8 and 10 below, from this URL. https://appletoolbox.com/does-your-iphone-connect-to-wifi-but-no-internet-how-to-fix/

Have tried with and without cell radio on. My boyfriend’s android does wifi and service plan same as me and is fine.




In my iphone network settings, wifi shows a blue checkmark which I assume means it’s connected but in the bar at the upper left hand corner it doesn’t show up.


Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, am I glad that I am not alone. I am trying to help my sister (iPhone 12) who has this same problem. Her boyfriend (iPhone 9), my son (iPhone13Pro), and myself (iPhone13Pro) all have this problem when at her house but not our homes. We have spent hours on this the past 2-3 days and done almost everything in the list above including contacting her ISP (Hughes.net) without any resolution. This began when she replaced her electrically dead (for several weeks) router with an Asus. We thought it must be the router, so she exchanged that for a Netgear with the exact same problem. The routers show the iPhones are attached devices, but the iPhones report there is no internet connection. I am attaching a screenshot showing this with her iPhone. The wifi is "rocky". Help, please!
