Bug in slideshow export results in flickering and glitching video

I exported a slideshow video (286 photos, classic theme, dissolve transition) on three different Macs (2022 M2 MacBook Air, 2019 Intel MacBook Air, 2021 M1 Pro MacBook Pro).

All showing the same result: annoying flickering that shortly shows the next photo before starting the transition to the next photo (not for all, but for roughly a third of all transitions). I have uploaded an example flickering transition to YT: https://youtu.be/YW8d3D5YqjQ

I found three threads for this issue (see below). None of these provides a sustainable solution. It was suggest to boot in safe mode or don't touch the MacBook while exporting. Both actions didn't resolve the issue for me.

Additional remark: this seems to be an issue with the classic theme only. Using Ken Burns theme does not only resolve any flickering, the export is additionally amazingly faster! Classic seems to export in real time (~20 minutes for my slideshow) while Ken Burns exports the same slideshow on my M2 MacBook Air in approx. 3-4 minutes.
