M1 Max rattling when training deep learning model

I saw this question https://origin-discussions2-us-dr-prz.apple.com/en/thread/252352422 and I have the same problem.

I am training a model with pytorch on my M1 Max (using the GPU with device = mps). During training, I can clearly hear some rattling/cracking/clicking going on.

Interestingly enough, it seems pretty much related to the batch size of my data loader: the lower the batch size, the more rattling, the higher the batch size, the lower the rattling.

I added the python code for reproducibility, with the necessary dependencies, it should run as it is.

Should I be worried about this cracking/rattling? Is it normal?
