iCloud Won’t install on my computer

My computer is running Windows 7 Ultimate and iCloud will not install. I got the iCloud setup file here: support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283

When I open the file it shows the license agreement. I click accept, then install. When it tries to install apple application support, I get this:

“File AppleApplicationSupport.msi was rejected by digital signature policy.” I have no idea what this means and when I click okay, it says iCloud for Windows Installer Error. Could someone please help me with this?

Hello metalteerex,

Do you happen to have any VPNs or security software on the PC? We ask because these may block the connection to Apple's servers: Check VPN (Virtual Private Network) and third-party software to help resolve network connectivity issues - Apple Support If so, we'd recommend removing these, restarting the PC, and then try downloading this again.

Are you an Administrator on the PC? You'd need to be an administrator in order to install this app.

I’ve done what you’ve said and it still won’t download. I’ve downloaded other apple applications on my PC successfully like iTunes, QuickTime, etc. It seems the only apple application that won’t install is iCloud. My computer is running windows 7 and I would like to know if there is some way I can get iCloud on that version of windows. I still get this same message: “File appleapplicationsupport was rejected by digital signature policy”, which leads to iCloud For Windows Installer Error.

I tried looking around my computer looking for VPN Services but I couldn’t find any. I tried running as administrator but same error message appeared.
