Help! I can't receive Verification Code from Bank on my iPhone 12. Using Malaysia's Umobile Simcard.

Hi there,

I been having this problem for quite sometimes now and i don't seem to find any solution for this.

I called my carrier (UMobile) and Apple support, UMobile said this is Apple problem, i called Apple, they said UMobile problem. It's like playing tug-and-war. Kept pushing back and forth.

So in the end i'm left with no solution. I had to buy a second phone which is Android just to get my SMS code which is a hassle to use 2 phones just to complete my online transaction.

I read an old thread about this, they said, carrier restricted the SMS but there is no use calling my carrier if they kept on giving me the same answer over and over again.

I tried using different Simcard from another carrier (Unifi) same thing. Didn't receive anything. Anyone can help me please?

Thanks for your reply.

I finally fixed it. Apparently i blocked the carrier 6 digits numbers in the previous years maybe because of advert spamming.

I unblocked it and i get the SMS right away!

To those who are having the same problem as me, please check your SMS setting and go to Blocked numbers. It might be there.

If you are referring to SMS/MMS they are Carrier-Specific features.

iMessage is not a carrier-specific feature.
