I needed new battery for my MacBook Pro (I purchased directly from Apple long time ago, the battery no longer function- no second hand/used). My MacBook Pro not in uses for years now, all needed new- correct Apple battery.

I needed to ID year made of my MacBook Pro for correct battery replacement.

I have Serial Number- will this help to ID correct battery for replacement?
