Generally, base-level models—no options selected—ship in a few days of the receipt of order. Bespoke models—extra RAM or storage usually take longer, up to two months currently for some models.

So the best way to estimate what works best for you without calling Apple is to set up the model you want in the Online Store and watch how changing option affects delivery time.
