macbook app updates

I purchased a refurbished MacBook Air from Apple in late 2021.

(MacBook Air (M1, 2020), macOS Monterey 12.5, Chip Apple M1, Memory 8 GB)

I started receiving notifications through the app store that there were updates for 5 applications. These apps were already on the laptop when I got it. When I try to update them I get the following message:

"Cannot Update App

iMovie cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID."

(The other apps I get this message for besides iMovie are Keynote, Numbers, Pages and GarageBand.)

There have been no problems with the iOS updates and fortunately the apps in question here are ones I don't use often. However I'd like to resolve this issue so when other apps come due I can update them.

Any ideas out there?? Thanks.
