Probles with pairing

When I try to pair my watch it says I need to update the phone, but there are no more updates. I tried on 2 different phones and it did the same thing.

What model of watch and phone are you trying to pair? Have we made sure that they are compatible? Are the phones up-to-date? If you haven't already, take a look at Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support and Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

What model of phone is it and what version of ios is it running?

What model of watch is it and what version of WatchOS is it running?.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried?.

What errror messages are you receiving?.

Has this watch ever been paired to another phone?(Very important).
