Was my phone hacked

Today I was using my phone for directions. The phone’s screen shut and when I put my passcode in it kept saying try again it was locked for hours and I could not reopen. This is a XSMax I have had for years. I tried all of the Online suggestions and finally had to reset the phone. A lot of the apps won’t let me sign on wanting me to sign on through their websites to share my data. I am not going to do that. Can’t get an appointment at the store feel like throwing it in the garbage

You were not hacked.

If you reset your device, or otherwise log out of iCloud, you may need to login again to all Apple services and to any third party apps that you use.
