Where is the microphone icon located when I’m on text in the iPhone 13 located. I can’t find it

When you tap in the message typing area, it should appear in the lower righthand corner of the screen, if you have dictation turned on. To check that, go to Settings>General>Keyboards>Enable Dictation. Turn that on.

Your iPhone 13 (no matter which model you have) has more than a single microphone. In fact, it comes with three microphones found across various sides of your phone. These are capable of recording your voice during audio and video calls and recording sounds while shooting videos. Check below for more info. 

As rumored earlier this year, the notch on the iPhone 13 is smaller than ever before. However, that doesn't mean Apple has eliminated any components. The notch is still visible, and it still houses a built-in stereo speaker alongside a built-in microphone. 

The primary purpose of the front-facing microphone is to pick up your voice when chatting via FaceTime, in cases when you don't use headphones or earbuds. Also, that microphone plays a part in catching your Siri-related commands. #2: Bottom Microphone

If you check the bottom side (edge) of your iPhone 13, you'll see a series of small holes. There's where your phone's built-in speaker is located. However, that's also where two microphones are placed - on each side of the Lightning connector.

As you might guess, the main role of the bottom-placed microphone is to catch your voice during regular (audio) calls. Of course, they also work in conjunction with other microphones to capture your voice during FaceTime calls and while issuing
