Is 88% battery capacity ok for a iPhone 12 Pro Max that I purchased in April 2021?
My battery is so low for it barley being a 1 old! Is this bad?

That's about right. On average, the battery will lose about 1% per month. You've lost 12% in ~13-14 months depending on when in April of last year you bought it.
