Flatbed scanning

Recently I find I cannot use my flatbed scanner using Image Capture. It no longer recognises my Cannon TS5000 printer/scanner.

What has gone wrong?

I have restarted my iMac Mi 24" using MacOS 12.5, re-installled the printer/scanner, restarted printer, and every other trick I know, without success.

Advice?

old issue, new issue, what changed...(?)

Printers/scanners are typically the first causality in upgrading any OS.

If it is listed as AirPrint printer, delete the existing printer in and add it again, select AirPrint.
