Help me understanding my apple invoice !

So I ordered an M2 MacBook Pro (16GB Unified Memory and 256GB SSD) off the apple store. The official price is listed as 149900 INR. After student discount, it dropped to 137900 INR and it came along with free AirPods (2nd generation) worth 14100 (including IGST). The AirPods were delivered earlier and the invoice of the AirPods mailed to me had a total amount of 14100 including taxes and I have no problem till here. The MacBook was delivered a few days later and its invoice mailed to me says that the actual price of the Mac is 116864.40 without taxes. Then there's a promotional discount of 11949.15 applied which I suppose is the student discount. And then the 18% IGST is calculated on that leading to a total amount of 123800 INR including taxes.

Now I understand that the total sum adds upto 137900 (123800 + 14100) INR which was what I paid. The AirPods is free for the student discount means they have deducted the 14100 from the MacBook price resulting in the Macs invoice showing 14100 less than the actual price. Do I understand this correctly ?

Earlier before receiving the invoices, I thought that the AirPods are free and the Macs invoice would show the total as 137900 which is what I paid for the Mac. And the AirPods invoice would also show was 14100, but I would get it for free because of the student discount. But now they have deducted that 14100 from the Mac resulting in Macs invoice showing the total as 123800 including taxes.
