I have iPhone 12. My phone doesn't give me a "Text Message Forwarding" option. Help?

I'm trying to solve a problem. Someone suggested setting up Text Message Forwarding in my phone so that all messages get to my iMac. My phone doesn't have a "Text Message Forwarding" option, though. (It's an iPhone 12, if that helps.)
