New Email/Old Apple Id I have a new email address. The prior email no longer exists. I followed the instructions on the Apple site, for changing my apple id from old email to the new email address on my Iphone 10. When I go to settings on the Iphone, it still shows my apple id as my old email address. I rebooted my iphone, but that didn't help. I read somewhere that I needed to turn off "Find My". When I try to do that, it displays the prior Apple Id. I enter the password for the prior id, and I get a Verification Failed message stating that my Apple Id or Password is incorrect. How can I get my Iphone to use my new Apple Id (new email)? Thank you.

Updated Apple ID, still shows old one on phone I changed my apple ID, which works on my laptop and my new iPad, but it still shows the old one on my iPhone 7 plus. I tried the old password with it, didn't work. New password didn't work. Old Apple ID is no longer recognized as valid on icloud.com or appleid.com--yet on my phone, both the icloud sign-in and the Apple ID sign-in will not let me input the new Apple ID no matter what I do. It demands the password for the old, invalid Apple ID email, with no option to enter in the new email. At a loss . . .Thanks for any help!

Invalid Apple ID linked to Icloud - how to change? Phone has two accounts linked to it. One is linked to the app store (that works) and one to icloud. The email that is connected to icloud has ... @icloud.com email and when trying to log in using that apple ID apple says the account is not valid, sothere's no way to recover password or change the account as it requires password for account that doesn't exist.. How do we change the apple ID to the other one?

Perhaps those apps needing an update is tied to the old email address. IF that is the case enter the password for old email.
