Can’t share a list from Reminders app anymore?!

My Reminders app won’t allow me to share a list to any of my contacts. Error msg says “Couldn’t Share List. There was a problem sharing the list. Please try again.” I have tried many times, still won’t work.

I have already turned OFF my phone and restart. Delete the Reminders app and re-download as well. Still can’t share any list. What happened? It worked just earlier this week. Help!?

Also, on a side note, can I share a “group” with someone? I can’t seem to find that option. My problem seems to have started ever since I started to create “groups” and nested some “list” under them.

Hey there creativepork,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to provide some assistance.

Let's make sure your device is up-to-date. If it is updated, let's restart your device. Restarting your device and making sure it is updated can resolve many unexpected issues.

Take a look here on how to restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone

Take a look here on how you can update your iPhone: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

"Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15.

  6. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

You might see that your device is up to date and that there's an upgrade available. For example, even if your device is up to date with the latest version of iOS 14, there might be an option to upgrade to iOS 15. You might want to upgrade iOS when you pair an accessory with iPhone."

If the issue persists, reach out to Apple directly here to investigate:
