how to reset lost passcode without loosing all stored information

You cannot. You must restore the iPhone to remove the passcode, and this process erases everything on the iPhone.


If you have a backup, either to iCloud or a computer you can restore it onto the iPhone once the erase is complete to get your data back. Unless you manually turned it off, iCloud backups should happen automatically overnight when connected power and Wi-Fi.


If you don't have a backup, it's too late to make one at this point.
