Alarm and Timer Stop Buttons in Different Locations

Dear Apple,

Whoooooo’s responsible for this absurdly nonsensical design?

Ahem…

“STOP” should be in THE SAME LOCATION!

…especially when most of the population relies on muscle memory in the first waking seconds of the day. Please fix this unfriendly user setting to prevent massive amounts of people who use both the timer and alarm (sometimes in subsequent order of each other) from sleeping in.

Many thanks.

you're not addressing Apple here.. this is a community of other users

I completely disagree. If the buttons were adjacent, much higher likelihood of pressing the one you don't intend to press.. which IMO, much higher likelihood of sleeping in because stop was pressed instead of snooze.

The offset buttons and color difference is the main thing that helps me press the correct one when I am barely awake.

There really is no way that whatever Apple does, it will work for everyone.

If you're worried about sleeping in, set multiple alarms.

Or go find another alarm app in the App Store?

NO it shouldn't be in the same location, so that way you don't hit stop instead of snooze for the alarm.
