Logitech G703 Wireless Mouse Pairing MacBook Pro 2021 Issues

I bought a Logitech G703 wireless mouse for my MacBook Pro 2021, but found that there is no USB interface on the computer, so I cannot plug in the USB receiver for pairing, nor can I connect directly through Bluetooth. In the end, I found that it seems that I can only buy an Apple adapter cable for connection. Can I use the adapter cable to pair the Logitech G703 wireless mouse? If the pairing is successful, can I connect directly through Bluetooth and skip the steps of the USB receiver in the future, or I still need to use the adapter cable all the time. to connect using?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.5
