specific keys on keybaord not lighting up

on my MacBook Pro 2016 Touch Bar 2 keys, M key and <, key are not lighting up while the whole keyboard is. I have tried changing brightness and automatic light adjusting but nothing has worked so far.

Troubleshooting Backlit Keyboards:


Use these Links:



  • Reset the SMC and your NVRAMSometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for keyboards) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM
