I’m trying to load Booking.com reservations into apple wallet and get “data problems-unable to load right now”. Unfortunately, “right now” has lasted the past two months.

Assuming that you’re clicking an “Add to Apple Wallet” icon from within a website or an app …
… you’ll unfortunately need to inquire from the website/app provider.
It might appear that something is amiss in their implementation.

Or ask booking.com why their Add to Wallet button didn’t work?
I once had a document that couldn’t be added. It turned out that the name the document was issued to didn’t match the name on the issuer’s account for that certificate. That’s a check that’s made when you add a document to the wallet.
Are you using a VPN connection? That can interfere with the Add to Wallet button.
Thanks for your reply. Since websites don’t ever want to speak with customers I’m trying to figure out a way to crack the code to get their phone number. When on the website I try to contact them, they want to send me to the hotel where I have a reservation…not to their their own number. Ahhhh technology is great, when it works in your favor.
Actually, getting to Booking.com is the issue. The only people I can access are my hotels. My issue is with Booking.com and their site, but can NOT get to them. Some kind hotelier in Rome has tried to help 😂, but there is NO WHERE on their site you can get to Booking.com. So bizarre and truly frustrating (as now it is becoming a cause célèbre in my head).
I posted a note on Facebook asking if anyone knew how to reach them …. But my friend base is not large. C’est la vie. I will print out my numerous reservations and use Expedia next time.

it has been 3 long years waiting to return to Bella Italia. I’m green with envy that you were able to live there. We spend about two months there each year bc (before Covid). So, I’m totally pumped for this visit.

That can be an issue, as it needs to confirm with the site. And also, the names may have to match (not always, but sometimes).
I guess I’ll print out all my dates and confirmation numbers and pretend it’s still the 20th century. 😂
BTW, have a GREAT trip to Italy !!!
While living there I developed a taste for good wine, good cheese, and good olive oil - all of which are harder to sustain here.
