Update to 8.7 causing significant battery drain on apple watch

Clearly the problem with the battery drain is related to the latest software. Is there any way to revert back to the previous software version?

Apple Watch 8 battery Drain I have an Apple Watch 8 and until updated it I would charge it maybe every other day. Today, after updating to 10.1 my battery lasted maybe 8 hours. Does anyone know how to roll back to the previous software? [Edited by Moderator]

Apple watch software cannot be downgraded.
