charging overnight
is it okay to charge my MacBook Air 2020 (i3) overnight?

You can leave in plugged in when needed or whenever convenient to do so. Leaving it plugged in will not damage the computer of the battery. The charging system is managed by the MacOS. There is no need to micro manage it.
