I have AOL mail as my Mac email. The 'Sort By' menu is no longer visible. How do I alphabetize my emails?

Mac mail not sorting into mailboxes I use apple mail as an email client. I use a couple of email addresses - and use the "favourites" (All Inboxes", "AllSent" ect). All emails are "sorted" by date received... easy enough - but lately (since the recent ventura upgrade) emails are not sorted to date received when the application is "opened" again (it doesn't need to be a quit and re-start... just a close and open). Additionally, sent emails are included in the "all inbox" listing and vice versa....... This is nothing to do with "Rules" - these are working normally.

Mac mail not sorting into mailboxes For a while now, Apple Mail ins not sorting emails properly. This is NOT related to "Rules". This is NOT related to "organise by conversation" etc which is all turned off. The default "view" setting is to sort by date (most recent on top). However - mail is putting emails out of order - and sent items are seen in the "inbox". I have a couple of email addresses - so use "favourites" (All -Inboxes, All Sent, etc) - the issue may be related to when I started using these, which has been only for maybe 6 months to a year (however I have tried taking a couple of addresses "offline" and the normal inbox still has the same problem). I'm using a MBP16 (2019) and running Ventura 13.2.1
