Apple Watch

My son wants an Apple Watch but no one in our household has an iPhone. Is it possible to set up and use an Apple Watch without an iPhone paired to it?

No,an apple watch must be paired to an iphone,it can be setup as a family sharing watch but it still has to be paired with a family members iphone.
