Changing Wifi password on iPhone 6s and 8

We have a couple of older iPhones, a 6s and an 8, our Wifi password was changed and we don't know how to update the passwords on the phones. Anyone has the steps? Thank you!

Go to Settings->Wi-Fi, select the Wi-Fi network that has a changed password. It should attempt to connect and fail, and ask for the password.

If it does not ask for the password, , tap on the (i) next to the network name, then on "Forget Network". Exit the network page and tap on the newtwork name again to connect to the network again, and it will ask for a new password.
