Focus Status does not show on iPhone 13 Pro but shows on iMac

I cannot see anyones Focus status on my phone nor can I toggle on the "Share Focus Status" on someones contact. On the settings, I have "Share Across Devices" on and "Focus Status" on.

When I use iMessage on my iMac, I can see my contact's focus status.

Has anyone found any solutions?

My iMac and iPhone are all up to date.

mishellephant,

Lets verify that the following Settings are correct on the iPhone:

  1. Verify Settings > Focus > Share Across Devices is enabled
  2. Verify Settings > Privacy > Focus > Messages is enabled
  3. Verify Settings > Messages > Focus also displays as enabled
  4. If the customer has any other Mac or iOS devices signed into the same Apple ID, ensure those same settings on those devices.
  5. After enabling settings, check on the toggle switch in the Messages conversation again

If the issue still persist, you may need to speak with an Apple phone advisor regarding this issue. Find the number for your region in the resource below and call when it is convenient.

Hello mishellephant,

It sounds like you aren't able to share your focus status with others. Does this happen with all contacts or just a select few? have you tried with some contacts that you haven't tried yet? Also take a look at this article: Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

When you set up a Focus, you can turn on Share Focus Status so that apps display to people who message you that you have notifications silenced. The apps only know that you have notifications silenced. Apps don't know which Focus you have turned on, so the name is never shared. Focus status is shared in apps when you have a Focus turned on and after you give an app permission.

To turn Focus Status on:

1. Go to Settings > Focus.
2. Select the Focus you set up.
3. Tap Focus Status, then turn it on.

Regards.
