Using a UK-purchased Apple Studio Display in Australia?

I was wondering if it's realistic/sensible to ship a UK-purchased Apple Studio Display to Australia for use while there, obviously with all that entails regarding the change of power plug.


Would using it permanently via an adapter cause any problems?


Alternatively, is it possible to simply replace the power cable at the back with a local one from an Australian Apple store?


Any advice on this (very boring) question greatly received!

^-- do that.

...and it need not come from an Apple store, the plug on the device is a fairly standard one, used world-wide.


I think it is using one of the IEC cords (locally called "Mickey Mouse" when referring to the three-lobe version) shown in this article:
