Siri Music Recognition

I don't want to use Shazam. When i ask Siri, "What song is this", it used to give me the Apple Music link to that song. In Apple Music. I liked that because i could add it for later listening. Now, it forces me to use Shazam. I don't even have Shazam. I don't want Shazam. I have Apple Music. How do i switch that back to Apple Music?

Hello Jeff8067,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Shazam is used to identify songs when using Siri. This feature cannot be disabled. However, once a song has been identified you should be able to access it in Apple Music. The steps in the following resource may help: Listen to your identified songs in Apple Music - Apple Support

That’s the problem. It forces me to download and use the Shazam app. I don’t want “Shazam playlist” or “Shazam tracks” in my Shazam app. I want to say, “ hey siri what song is this” and then it tell me, and allow me to click on it and it tack me straight to Apple Music. Just like it used to. Now, I have to remember what it said, open Apple Music search for it and hope I didn’t forget what it was or how to spell it. That is nuts. And don’t say, it is in my “Shazam playlist”. Because I’ve looked everywhere and there is not Shazam playlist. I do not have the Shazam app remember? Why would Apple take away an option to view the discovered music of the music service they own? Makes no sense.
