How to Sort Files in Finder by Date Added?

I have my Downloads folder configured to Group by Name and Sort by Date Added. I opened that particular Finder window, and pressed ⌘+J to additionally open the View options panel. It looks like this. Last thing is to click the Use as Defaults button.

All I have to do is open my Downloads folder and the last downloaded object is in the upper-left corner (icon view).

Or if you just want to temporarily sort a folder by date added, hold down the option key while clicking the icon shown below:

Control (right) - click on the Name header and select Date Added from the contextual menu:

Then click on the Date Added header to set the sort to Date Added.
