Shopping at apple store Vs ordering online

Hi

well, I’m going to travel to United Arab Emirates and I’m willing to buy a new MacBook Air m2 from an apple store.

But the first problem is if I want to order a configured model through apple store website and then take the delivery from an apple store, I don’t know how much time the shipping takes and how much the estimated delivering time is accurate!! Because I’m gonna be there just for few days as an tourist. So can I trust their estimation on the shipping date?

The second problem is I don’t know what the delivering policy is and how they authorize my identity as the real buyer? Is it done by my Apple ID informations?? Because I’m paying with another person’s credit card but want to take the delivery by myself!!!

My other question is if I just want to buy the base model, is it always available at the store or should I book a reservation or sth like that?

And also can I pay the cost with US dollars or it must be UAE currency??

And my last question is because I’m a tourist, is the products tax free or can I pay the 5% tax in UAE and then get the refund at the airport with my passport?
