Macpaw legitimate?

Is Macpaw a legitimate company for cleaning software on Mac or air laptops?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

It can cause more issues than it could solve. Not recommended. Upgrade to Monterey and come back if you have an issue you need help with.

Clean My Mac by MacPaw is not recommended on these parts. Mac's generally don't need 3rd party cleaner software.

Thanks for answering so quickly. I’m going to upgrade to Monterey from Catalina and I read where cleaning up/out the junk before the new installation would be helpful.
