iPad Ar 5 and Apple Pencil Compatible:

According to Apple, your device support the Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Problem with the Apple Pencil (1st gen) would definitely be charging it. Not sure though if anyone has tried writing on the iPad Air 5th Gen using the Apple pencil (1st gen).
