my phone is making funny noises like a screen much app. What could be wrong with my phone and it also malfunctions on its own the volume button pops up on its own muting my phone or adjusting the sound. Am I hacked or what could it be

Who is the seller?
The only way an iPhone could be hacked, is if it has been jail broken. So, if purchased form Apple or a retailer, then no worries there. If purchased elsewhere, then you should be questioning a hacked iPhone.
Troubleshooting iPhone Audio:
See if you can fix this audio issue, using the following links. If no success, then take this as a good reason to upgrade to a newer device, as your's is obsolete.

Troubleshooting an iPhone:
Your iPhone is obsolete. So, it is likely a misconfiguration issue. I'd say back it up, and then restore it, or reset it, backing up first, either way.
Restore your iPhone:
If you are so concerned, then restore from a backup or reset your iPhone to factory settings. Important: Back Up First: Be sure create a back up your iPhone prior to performing an update, that way you have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong afterwards.
