I measured the speed on my devices today and found out that the new 2022 tablet supports 250MB speed.
And the iPad Air model A1475 2013 (1st generation) gives a download speed of only 62 MB.
Is this a normal situation?
Much older iPads models support older WiFi specs and your alnost 9-year old iPad Air model will only support a WiFi data speed protocol UP to 100 Mbps download speeds, with that being highly variable based upon current Internet traffic, the amount of local devices accessing the WiFi MODEM/router network and other varaiables such local distnaces from your WiFi network and other magnetic or other physical device interference variables.
Also, Internet/ISP data travel distances from the nearest data transmission source to your home Wireless network can affect data download/upload speeds.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It may be best to isolate this to either your iPad or the specific connection by testing on another Wi-Fi network to make sure you are troubleshooting the correct component.
If you find that this happens on every network and every webpage, checking things that might impact performance such as battery health and storage may narrow the issue down further.
