To back up notes to OneDrive, open system preferences and navigate to internet accounts. Add your Microsoft or Office 365 or Exchange account if not already added. Then click on your account and make sure that notes is checked.

Do you mean iCloud Drive? OneDrive is a Windows cloud storage service, and the Apple Notes app can't be backed up to it.
