I just replaced my studio display that has the stand with the vesa mount. The speakers on the vesa are significantly different in a negative way. All treble, no bass. The display with the stand had much more fullness and low end. Are they different speakers? Both were hooked up to the mac studio mini. Really disappointed

They should be the same speakers.
The difference most likely comes from reflection off of the desk versus less or no reflection.
Disregard. Sound output was set to mac studio mini lol. Huge difference
