Unable to connect a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to MacBook Air via Bluetooth
I have always been able to connect my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to my MacBook Air. It was often glitchy and weird, but it would still connect and work.
Recently, however it has stopped letting me connect it via Bluetooth. The controller still appears in the Bluetooth window from the last time I connected it, and when I hold the sync button, I can click it and it says "Connected" for a few seconds. But, the lights on the controller keep flashing and it doesn't register any inputs. Then, it automatically disconnects. (Note: This only works when I do it from the Menu Bar, not System Preferences.)
Additionally, some of the menus in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences are super messed up, leading me to believe that whatever the issue is is caused by some sort of glitch. I was originally going to try and delete the Pro Controller device from my computer, and then reconnect it, but the 'x' overlaps with the 'Options' button, preventing me from clicking it:
Then, when I tried to click on the 'x' anyways, it opens this menu:
One way or the other, I think there is something wrong here. I tried turning Bluetooth off and back on, and I tried restarting my computer, but neither seemed to do anything. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue so that I can connect my Pro Controller to my Mac? Thanks!
(Note: It's probably worth mentioning that I can still connect the controller via USB cable, but it doesn't always seem to work as well as Bluetooth.)
